Der Doktor at work
Der Doktor is a steam-powered singer-songwriter from Germany. Active since 2014, he only started to have a public presence with concerts, music videos, music on popular streaming platforms, and social media since late 2023. His content revolves around the fictional character "Der Doktor", who treats patients in his practice, performs occult rituals, summons ghosts and skeletons, all powered by steam and electricity. He is a mix of steam- and teslapunk. Musically, he delves into dissonant blends of Dark Cabaret, Dark Gypsy, and traditional German singer-songwriter fare. His stage design is something truly special. Oscilloscopes, VU meters, and various other measuring and visual devices that react to the Doktor's performance, as well as tube TVs and more, make his live show a unique experience.
