Held der Arbeit (literally "hero of work") is a German steampunk rock band focusing on the working class especially in the rural area.

The rural area strongly draws its identity from the mining and steel production past which Held der Arbeit picked as there central theme for outfits and songs.

Their music can be described as industrial folk, older songs lean more towards synth pop.
